About RISEN

RISEN: Re-Investing Spirituality and Ethics in our Networks

Join colleagues all across HSHS in the RISEN experience. RISEN is a spiritual (not religious) workshop offering an opportunity to discover your unique gifts, understand what gives your life meaning and enhance communication in all your relationships. RISEN will renew your mind, body and spirit in order to be a healing presence for others to support mission and organizational spirituality. RISEN is an opportunity to step away from career demands for four full days. You must be able to attend all four eight-hour sessions.  Sessions are held at the Chiara Center at the Motherhouse of the Hospital Sisters of the Third Order of St. Francis.

After the program is completed, there is a committment to meet with your smaller mentor group four to six times for a total of six hours during the next three months. This is all paid time and you can receive CEUs for completing RISEN. If you are interested in attending, talk with your manager for approval to attend. Then contact Ann Derrick at 217-757-6580 or ann.derrick@hshs.org by Sept. 8, 2016. Please note that there is a selection process as space is limited.
